Built on a series of rolling dunes surrounded by palmettos, this course offers challenging golf due to the off-balance lies and elevation changes. The 10 holes of water demand precision play (remember this was the course that Phil Mickelson and Tiger played back when they were in college). The Historic Leamington Lighthouse, built around 1880, is an interesting side note to your play, as it is the only genuine once-functioning lighthouse on Hilton Head and one of only a handful that survives in SC.
